Make cuts into the onion down to about 1\/2 inch from the bottom. Make sure it coats all the sides and inside of the onion.<\/p><\/li><li><p align=\"Left\">Put the dry ingredients into a plastic food bag. Put the onion inside the bag, and gently turn the onion to coat it.<\/p><\/li><li><p align=\"Left\">Dip the onion into the buttermilk again.<\/p><\/li><li><p align=\"Left\">Coat the onion with the dry ingredients a second time.<\/p><\/li><li><p align=\"Left\">Fry the onion,\u00a0right-side up, in vegetable oil until a golden brown. So, clean your baseboards regularly. If you do not clean them frequently, you may need to get down on your knees and wipe them with a cloth.
