They make great houseplants. They are amongst the easiest to grow indoor plants. The plants are native to Central and North America. Philodendron houseplants thrive in the conditions of your home. And, they are low maintenance. They are grown for their foliage, which comes in a variety of sizes and shades of green. Philodendrons require very low light levels.
