They allow us to identify the plants we are growing indoors in our seed trays. Outdoors, we use them as row markers to mark planting rows, especially for when planting seeds that take a long time to sprout. In addition, they are used to identify what was planted, and to identify individual varieties of plants. For example, the labels are perfect for identifying each of the often several varieties of tomato plants in your garden. \u00a0<\/p><p align=\"Left\">Marker labels are made of wood or plastic. Wooden plant marker labels last one season, before being tossed into the compost pile. We often use plastic labels for just one season too.
