Snowdrops
Can Spring be far behind? Well, yes, but the appearance of these near my front door reminds me that it will eventually arrive. Meanwhile, my sister in Texas has been out in her garden cleaning up. What’s up with that?!

Birdfeeder and squirrels
Check out this squirrel-thwarting mechanism! We have had this soda bottle arrangement on our feeder pole for three years and nary a squirrel has tried to climb it to the feeder. I found this idea on the interwebz someplace and it really works.

Midnight Bunny
We have a wild bunny that appears under our birdfeeder to dine on all the spilled seed that the crazy birds throw off. However, this bunny does not appear in the early morning or early evening hours, but at midnight or thereabouts! Guess that’s the only time there is room at the table!
